On April 5 and 6, 2024, the Open Atelier team at Plečnik House organized the Plečnik's Ljubljana Hackathon, an experience aimed at involving a group of 23 young creators in the development of innovative and imaginative ideas for an addition to the permanent exhibition in the museum. The event represented an opportunity to test new audience engagement formats in the modern interpretation, presentation and use of cultural heritage. The two-day competition was curated by Ana Porok and Maja Kovač, namely curator and head of programs at Plečnik House, and was developed through the participation of Nejco Kovačič, head of the Communication Service at the Museum and Galleries of the City of Ljubljana, architect Matjaž Bolčina, from ARP studio, Matjaž Požlep and Alenka Selčan Božič, from the company Art Rebel 9.
