Open Atelier People: Lotte Vittrup Krukiewicz

Text by Lotte Vittrup Krukiewicz

What do you do?

I am project manager framing and leading projects in a way that makes it possible for my colleagues do what they do best.

What part of your institution is your favourite – i.e., a painting, a view, the colleagues, or something completely different – and why?

I’m in love with the silence and atmosphere in our exhibition hall Plesner salen just before opening the doors to the audience. At that time there is a very special feeling in the room. A feeling that makes me feel proud, a bit overwhelmed and calm at the same time.

Why is Open Atelier important to you and what are you looking forward to?

The Open Atelier project is important to me for two reasons.

First because of the close international collaboration. Working together with people with other skills, backgrounds and culture bringing in new perspectives is a big asset and opportunity for our museum and for me personally.

Second because Open Atelier is an opportunity to make very big impact on the way that we interact with our audience in the future.
